About Yasmin

Yasmin Roshanian is a writer and editor. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University and a BA in English literature and creative writing from UCLA, where she wrote her senior honors thesis (a novella) under the advisement of Mona Simpson. She is currently at work revising a novel surrounding the complexities of an Iranian identity, womanhood, and the entrapment of family. She is heavily involved in the building of community life, advocating for global unity and social justice.
